CryptoLegacy uses deBridge for easy cross-chain Lifetime NFTs and referrals: mint once, use anywhere, auto-sync referral codes across chains.

When designing CryptoLegacy, our main goal was seamless accessibility across all blockchain networks, maximizing network effects and accelerating ecosystem growth.

To simplify user experience, we introduced the Unlimited NFT Pass, enabling users to create and update contracts on any supported blockchain - free of charge, forever. However, achieving smooth cross-chain functionality presented significant technical challenges.

Additionally, we built a robust Referral Program allowing users to earn rewards by inviting others. Ensuring a single referral code could work universally across all supported blockchains posed another technical challenge.

We solved both challenges simultaneously by integrating the deBridge protocol, enabling efficient cross-chain messaging and interoperability.

Cross-chain NFTs: How It Works

1. Mint & Lock on Ethereum

• Mint and lock your NFT on Ethereum to secure lifetime access.

2. Cross-chain Locking

Transfer your locked NFT data effortlessly to any supported EVM-compatible blockchain:

• Send a transaction on Ethereum.

• Wait for bridge confirmation.

• Switch to the desired blockchain.

• Confirm the lock transaction.

You’re now ready to deploy and update contracts on this blockchain without additional fees.

3. Unlocking NFTs

To unlock your NFT on Ethereum, first unlock it from all other blockchains:

• Send unlock transactions on each blockchain where your NFT is locked.

• Wait for bridge confirmations.

• Switch back to Ethereum.

• Confirm the unlock.

Cross-chain Referral Program

Here's how the referral program works across multiple blockchains:

1. Generate Your Referral Code

• Create a custom or auto-generated shortcode (initially created on Arbitrum to optimize costs).

2. Deploy Referral Code Across Blockchains

Referral data automatically propagates across all supported blockchains via deBridge:

• Wait for bridge confirmation.

• Switch networks and confirm referral code creation on each blockchain.

Referral codes are unique and flexible:

• Easily update the code owner or payout address across multiple blockchains simultaneously.

Important Notes:

• If CryptoLegacy expands to additional blockchains, you only need to update referral information on those new chains.

• Currently, changing the referral code owner or payout address requires separate transactions on each blockchain.

Cross-Chain Asset Transfer

Currently, CryptoLegacy does not support cross-chain transfers for locked assets. However, we will develop a plugin in the future. Contract owners will be able to add this plugin to their contracts, enabling beneficiaries to easily transfer locked assets between different chains.
